Recommended Reading for New Believers

Sometimes as new believers, it is difficult to see where to begin reading the Bible. The Gospels, especially the Gospel of John, are a great place for you to begin your reading. Jesus said that man does not live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceeds from God-- the Word of God, your Bible, is the 'food' or the nourishment that your spirit needs to live a healthy life in Christ. It is more important that the food for your body! Just as your body suffers greatly if you fail to care for and feed it properly, so your spirit will suffer if you neglect it. So don't neglect it. Form a habit of daily reading and praying to the Father in Jesus name.

Just one other little suggestion: If you don't own a Bible,or even if you do, I suggest you get a King James Version if you don't have one (for memorization especially). Other versions may be fine for casual reading, but the KJV Bible has had careful attention and accuracy in translation that most other English versions lack. Don't say I didn't warn ya!:)
